Part-Time Firefighter / Paramedic

Warrenville Fire Protection District employs a part-time Firefighter / Paramedic staff who complements the duty crew staffing. Part-time personnel are required to possess certification as a Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) and Possess a valid Paramedic License from the Illinois Department of Public Health – (IDPH) (at the time of hire).

Part-time firefighters’ shifts are based on departmental needs. Part-time shifts run as follows:

Weekdays/Weekends

• 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Shifts can be joined to allow a part-time employee to work a 24-hour shift.
