Part-Time Firefighter / Paramedic

Warrenville Fire Protection District employs a staff of part-time Firefighter/Paramedics who complement the duty crew staffing. Part-time personnel are required to possess certification as a Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) and Possess a valid Paramedic License from the Illinois Department of Public Health – (IDPH) (at the time of hire).

Part-time firefighters’ shifts are based on departmental needs. Part-time shifts run as follows:

Weekdays/Weekends

• 7:00AM to 7:00PM
• 7:00PM to 7:00AM

Shifts can be joined together to allow a part-time employee to work a 24-hour shift.

Paid-on-Call (POC) Firefighter / EMT-B

If you are interested in being a Firefighter/EMT and serving the community in which you live, Warrenville Fire Protection District will accept your application for paid-on-call personnel.
